AMiBA Afrika Musique Internternational Black Arts presents the 6th annual Michèzo!™ International Festival.

Michèzo! is an interactive celebration of traditional African cultural arts. Michezo! showcases African folk music, dance, drumming, food, storytelling and childhood games created through the ingenuity of African people. Michèzo! returns to its Toronto Island home the 3rd Saturday of August each year!

Please be aware that we're now at Hanlan's Point, near the Toronto Island airport.

Directions

Take the Hanlan's Point Ferry from the Toronto Ferry Docks, located at the foot of Bay St. and Queens Quay, just West of the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel.

Enter from Queens Quay via walkway between Harbour Castle Westin Hotel and Harbour Castle condominiums.

Ferry Information

Ferries to Hanlan's Point run every 30 minutes on the hour (full Hanlan's Point Ferry Schedule).

Important: Don't take the Centre Island or Ward's island ferries by mistake, or you'll have a long walk.

Fares are: Adults $6.50, Students/Seniors $4.00, Juniors (under 14) $3.00, Children (under 2) Free. Bicycles are allowed on the ferry.

Getting to the Ferry Docks By TTC

From Union Station take the streetcar (LRT) south to the Bay and Queen's Quay Stop. The entrance to the ferry docks is on the south side of the street, just east of the Westin Harbour Castle hotel.

Getting to the Ferry Docks By Car

Parking is available 1 block north at Lakeshore and Bay, or 1 block west on Queens Quay between Bay and York Sts., or 1 block east opposite Toronto Star building adjacent to Captain Johns restaurant.
